Today’s Daily Stoic writing prompt: How will I use the power of choice today?

Today I’m exactly 35 days out from finishing up these writing prompts.

Some days, I don’t feel much like writing.

Today is one of those.

So I’m choosing to keep this brief.

Today is rather light on deep thoughts. First day back from vacation for a lot of people at work, a lot of other people distracted by school beginning today. Worked on the annual series of attestations we have to do at work. Lots of rain this evening. Continued to plan for our trip early next week.

This morning the dove chick — and there is indeed only one of them –was alone on the nest.

Backyard needs weeding again.

Worked on the cat embroidery.
